System Overview

A modular interior protection family for armored-vehicle crews.

SCS-M1 is designed as an internal liner system rather than a replacement for the vehicle's primary armor. Its modular architecture supports wall, door, hatch, roof and floor-zone integration while preserving maintainability and vehicle-specific access requirements.

01 · SURVIVABILITY

Fragment Containment

Provides a dedicated interior layer intended to reduce crew exposure to secondary fragments generated within the protected vehicle envelope.

02 · MODULARITY

Replaceable Modules

Panelized architecture allows individual sections to be inspected, serviced or replaced without changing the complete liner system.

03 · INTEGRATION

Vehicle-Specific Fit

Configurations can be adapted around doors, hatches, seating, equipment, maintenance points and internal vehicle geometry.

04 · WEIGHT

Lightweight Architecture

Fiber and composite technologies are used to pursue a practical balance between protection, mass, thickness and installation constraints.

05 · MAINTENANCE

Removable Installation

Mechanical interfaces can support access to the underlying vehicle structure, wiring and service areas during maintenance.

06 · SCALABILITY

Family-Based Design

Common design principles support multiple module formats for different crew-compartment zones and platform classes.

Product Family

One protection architecture. Multiple interior applications.

The SCS-M1 family is organized around standard and vehicle-specific modules. Final geometry, attachment and qualified performance depend on the target platform and customer requirement.

SCS-M1-P600Standard Wall ModuleReference-format modular panel for side-wall and general crew-compartment installations.
SCS-M1-P400Compact ModuleSmaller-format module for constrained spaces, transitions and localized coverage.
SCS-M1-D1Door & Hatch ModuleVehicle-specific protection module for access doors, ramps and hatch areas.
SCS-M1-R1Roof ModuleInterior roof-liner configuration adapted around vehicle structures and access points.
SCS-M1-F1Floor-Zone ModuleInterior floor-zone fragment-protection configuration for selected crew-compartment areas.

Platform Applications

Designed for integration across protected land platforms.

SCS-M1 can be configured as part of a broader vehicle survivability package, with layouts tailored to the available crew-compartment space and vehicle maintenance requirements.

  • Armored Personnel Carriers (APC)
  • Infantry Fighting Vehicles (IFV)
  • Mine-Resistant / Protected Mobility Vehicles
  • Main Battle Tanks and other armored platforms
  • Protected trucks and specialized security vehicles

FAQ

SCS-M1 at a glance.

Does SCS-M1 replace the vehicle's main armor?

No. SCS-M1 is an internal crew-survivability liner intended to complement the vehicle's primary protection architecture.

Can the system be installed on existing vehicles?

The family is intended to support retrofit as well as new-platform integration, subject to vehicle survey, geometry, mounting and qualification requirements.

Is every module the same size?

No. P600 is a reference module format; compact, door/hatch, roof, floor-zone and custom vehicle-specific configurations are part of the product family.

Are ballistic protection levels published on this page?

No. Protection performance must be tied to the exact tested configuration. Detailed test and qualification information should be supplied through controlled technical documentation.
