System Overview

Rapid pilot-line placement across difficult terrain.

PeakReach establishes the first lightweight connection between separated positions. After the pilot line reaches the receiving side and is secured, stronger intermediate line and the primary rescue or utility rope can be transferred across the obstacle.

01

Rapid Deployment

Designed to establish an initial line significantly faster than manual placement in suitable rescue and engineering scenarios.

02

Reduced Initial Exposure

Allows teams to create the first connection without immediately committing personnel to a hazardous crossing route.

03

Long-Range Pilot Line

Uses a lightweight pilot line for long-distance deployment before progressively stronger line and main rope transfer.

04

Portable Field Architecture

Tripod launcher, control unit, line spool, terminal module, accessories and hard-case transport are organized for a small field team.

05

Automatic Terminal Anchoring

ATAS is designed to deploy a terrain-adaptive retention mechanism after terminal arrival rather than during the high-speed flight phase.

06

Multi-Mission Configuration

Supports mountain rescue, ravine crossing, river access, disaster response, temporary line placement and infrastructure support.

Operating Concept

Mountain-to-mountain line deployment with terminal securing.

The launcher is positioned on stable terrain and connected to the pilot-line management system. The long-form deployment carrier transports the line across the gap. After terminal arrival, the ATAS module is intended to secure the pilot line before the primary rope-transfer sequence begins.

  • Site assessment and receiving-zone confirmation
  • Stable launcher positioning and pilot-line preparation
  • Rocket-assisted carrier deployment across the obstacle
  • Terminal arrival and post-flight anchoring sequence
  • Pilot-line recovery and secure-status verification
  • Progressive transfer to intermediate and main rope

Primary Applications

Designed for rescue, access and emergency line placement.

PeakReach is intended as a difficult-terrain access tool. Mission line type, terminal retention module and operating procedure can be adapted to authorized rescue, civil engineering and emergency-response requirements.

01
Mountain RescueInitial pilot-line placement across cliffs, steep valleys and remote mountain gaps.
02
Ravine & Gorge CrossingRapid first-line establishment where manual access would require lengthy climbing operations.
03
Flood & River ResponseLine placement across flood channels, rivers and damaged crossings using mission-appropriate line types.
04
Disaster AccessSupport for landslide, earthquake, bridge-collapse and isolated-community response scenarios.
05
Infrastructure SupportTemporary pilot-line placement for approved cable, ropeway, inspection or maintenance preparation.
06
Emergency Communication LineInitial placement path for lightweight temporary communications or utility lines where permitted.
07
Expedition OperationsRemote terrain access support for trained expedition and technical rescue teams.
08
Institutional EvaluationControlled trials with rescue agencies, engineering groups and authorized field operators.
Safety & Field Operation

Field performance must be validated before operational release.

PeakReach combines a high-energy deployment phase with rescue-line handling. Field operation therefore requires disciplined safety procedures, defined exclusion zones, trained operators, terminal-retention verification and compliance with applicable local regulations.

  • Trained-operator-only deployment procedures
  • Safe/arm and controlled-initiation architecture
  • Defined launch and receiving-area exclusion zones
  • Terminal deployment inhibited during flight
  • Post-arrival anchor and line-retention verification
  • Wind, visibility, terrain and obstacle assessment
  • Misfire / abnormal-event procedures and controlled recovery
  • Transport, storage and regulatory compliance for energetic modules
